Inderjit Singh Kudrat belongs to a family of skilled artisans who specialize in desi meenakari, Mughal, and Rajput-style art. This unique skill has been passed down from his forefathers since the 16th century as a tradition under the Guru Shishya Prampara.

Under the guidance of his father, Sardar Kudrat Singh (Padma Shree), Inderjit Singh learned the nuances of meenakari, Mughal, and Rajput-style art. This magnificent craft of fine art enameling gold, silver jewelry, and desi meenakari jewelry was under the direct patronage of the Royal King of Jaipur.

Inderjit Singh Kudrat has created masterpieces and supported his family in flourishing the ancestral Mughal and Rajput art under his guidance. He has participated in national and international exhibitions to showcase this traditional craft.

The desi meenakari process involves pouring enamel into the grooves made on a silver or gold sheet. Each color of enamel needs to be fired separately and then polished once it has cooled.
